Integrity
If we do not have integrity (open and honest truth) we do not have anything. Without integrity we cannot be true to living without harm, we cannot be true to our purpose or the principle we know is right.
Without integrity we are not responsible, respectful adults. Without integrity we cannot have good relationships or self-respect or respect.
Integrity is of the highest value. There is nothing true or whole without it.
Dignity, decency, self-respect, love and honour are all built on integrity.
If we do not behave with integrity, for whatever reason, politics, religion, prejudice, whatever it is, then we have failed to act rightly and we have wronged. It is not always easy to act with integrity, but when it is most difficult it is most important.
